The Kalamazoo Valley Chapter Trout Unlimited (KVCTU) is dedicated to preserving wild rivers, cleaning up polluted waters, maintaining early warning Water Quality Surveillance programs, educating the public through workshops and seminars, and representing the concerns of anglers and conservationists.
The George L. Disborough Trout Unlimited Research Grant Fund supports masters or doctoral level research studies on trout habitat or projects aligning with Trout Unlimited's goals to preserve, protect, and enhance cold-water resources. This encompasses efforts consistent with KVCTU's broader objectives such as habitat preservation, pollution cleanup, water quality monitoring, public education, and advocacy for angling and conservation issues.
