    Overview

The grant program focuses on establishing new Industrial Assessment Centers (IAC) across the U.S. to support training in clean energy, energy efficiency, and advanced manufacturing. Its primary goals are to equip students and incumbent workers with high-quality career skills in these sectors, and to assist small and midsized manufacturers in reducing energy waste and enhancing productivity. The program specifically supports community and technical colleges, trade schools, union training programs, apprenticeship readiness programs, and their associated partners by offering planning, execution, and cohort awards aimed at building capabilities and partnerships to foster a skilled workforce and sustainable manufacturing practices.
