    Overview

The Power at Sea Prize is designed to spur innovation in maritime or "blue" technologies by harnessing the ocean's power for sustainable use of its resources. It targets the growth of technologies that can operate independently of land-based power grids, focusing on applications like storm tracking, aquaculture monitoring, and climate change mitigation. The prize is structured through CONCEPT and DEVELOP phases to support early-stage development from initial concept to a testable stage, offering financial support, training, and resources to help transition ideas into prototypes.
