    Overview

The grant program aims to design and implement four Institutes for the Study of the U.S. as part of the Madeleine K. Albright Young Women Leaders Program. Scheduled for summer 2025, each institute will engage in themes aligned with U.S. foreign policy priorities: Civic Engagement, Economic Empowerment, Environmental Issues, and Public Policy. The program targets multinational groups of undergraduate female students, aiming to deepen their understanding of U.S. society, culture, values, and institutions, and to hone their leadership skills. It comprises a five-week duration with a four-week academic residency in the U.S. and a one-week study tour to expose participants to diverse communities and cultures within the country. Additionally, a convening event will facilitate networking among participants across all institutes.
