    Overview

This grant program, announced by the U.S. Embassy Kyiv / EUR Bureau of the U.S. Department of State, revolves around supporting the Mission Ukraine American Spaces Network. Its primary objective is to assist in the restoration of damaged American Spaces within Ukraine, focusing on strengthening capacity building and programming at 23 specific locations. These include both Window on America Centers (American Corners) and affiliated American Spaces across various Ukrainian cities. The project seeks not only to repair physical damages but also to enhance these platforms' ability to deliver high-quality, innovative programming. Such initiatives are aimed at boosting Ukraine’s resilience to disinformation, promoting media literacy, supporting the country’s European integration efforts, and fostering understanding between the people of Ukraine and the United States amid the ongoing conflict and societal pressures. Further, the grant aims to equip these spaces with the necessary technology to support both online and offline programs that reflect shared values and address the needs of local communities.
