To protect and promote U.S. security, prosperity, and democratic values and shape an international environment in which all Americans can thrive.
This grant program supports short-term, youth-focused exchange initiatives designed to empower youth and promote leadership and skills building. These initiatives should primarily focus on leadership skills and global citizenship. The proposed projects will target secondary and university students, enhancing their leadership skills and understanding of global citizenship while addressing common challenges in partnership with the United States. The exchange programs will last between 10 to 30 days, taking place in the United States, and grant recipients will be required to publicize their project activities, including U.S. Embassy support. Institutions and organizations from the U.S. and all regions of Uzbekistan are encouraged to apply, with the responsibility for program logistics, from recruitment in Uzbekistan to travel and program execution in the U.S., resting with the implementers.
