The USTA Facility Assistance Program aims to support the development and improvement of tennis facilities across the U.S. This program offers competitive grants for various projects including basic facility improvements, resurfacing of courts, and new construction. The grants are categorized into three tiers: Category I focuses on basic amenities and installations with funding up to 50% of the total project cost or $5,000 maximum. Category II is for resurfacing projects and modifications, providing up to 50% of the total project cost with a maximum grant between $12,500 and $35,000 depending on the number of courts. Category III supports new constructions or reconstruction, and major enhancements like new lighting or the addition of structures over courts.
