    Overview

The USAID/Cambodia's five-year community tuberculosis (TB) activity aims to enhance TB case finding and holding activities, prioritizing maximum TB outcomes for Cambodians, including vulnerable groups like Indigenous People. It seeks to build upon the achievements of previous community TB control efforts such as the USAID Community Mobilization Initiatives to End Tuberculosis (COMMIT) and incorporate insights from its mid-term evaluation and stakeholder feedback. The initiative aligns with the National TB Strategic Plan to End TB (2021-2030), the WHO’s End TB Strategy, and the USAID’s Global TB Strategy 2023 - 2030. Its primary focus is on bettering the execution of the End TB strategy at the community level, enhancing the access to and demand for high-quality TB services, fostering a conducive private sector environment for TB control and services, and improving TB Management Information System (MIS) systems and data usage, ultimately aiming for improved and more enduring TB services.
