    Overview

The grant program envisions improving cattle productivity and enhancing the meat and dairy value chain in Turkmenistan. The broad goals include making advancements through various approaches such as: enhancing access for small and medium-size farms to genetic material for more productive cattle breeds; improving these farms' access to quality feed; augmenting farmers' knowledge and skills in proper cattle care; and other activities aimed at strengthening the local dairy and meat value chains. This initiative seeks to gather expressions of interest from organizations with capacity and experience in Turkmenistan, particularly in grant and contract administration or the livestock sector, through a Request for Information (RFI). This process is aimed at identifying entities that can support USAID's livestock activity in Turkmenistan.
