The mission of EPA is to protect human health and the environment - today and every day.
The Environmental and Climate Justice Community Change Grant program aims to address climate challenges and reduce pollution by funding community-driven projects. With a significant funding pool of $2 billion, it supports efforts to strengthen communities through thoughtful implementation. The program seeks to enable communities and their partners to overcome longstanding environmental challenges and implement meaningful solutions for current and future generations. There are two tracks of funding available under this opportunity: Track I, which will award approximately 150 large, transformational community-driven investment grants ranging from $10 million to $20 million; and Track II, which will award approximately 20 meaningful engagement grants ranging from $1 million to $3 million. Grants will not exceed a three-year duration.
