Type of Support
Overview
The Paul R. Judy Center Grant supports U.S.-based musicians and musical arts organizations undertaking research or innovative projects. It welcomes proposals in two main areas:
Research, providing funds for expenses related to completing a research project. Funding may go toward travel, lodging, or other costs in order to complete the project.
Projects encompassing a broad spectrum, including but not limited to educational programs, concerts, and recordings.
At the core of its funding priorities, the grant aims to support efforts that contribute to systemic and transformational change in the music profession towards diversity, equity, and inclusion. It especially values projects that tackle anti-racism and have the potential for creating lasting and sustainable impacts in the arts.
