    Overview

The grant program supports three Youth Ambassadors programs for select countries in East Asia and Pacific, Europe and Eurasia, and the Middle East and North Africa for fiscal year 2024. It encourages proposals from U.S. public and private non-profit organizations to facilitate four-week exchanges in the U.S. These exchanges focus on civic education, leadership development, respect for diversity, and community engagement, along with the execution of service projects in participants' home communities. The program for East Asia and Pacific and Middle East and North Africa regions includes about 3-5 adult mentors participating alongside youth, with the addition of competitively selected U.S. secondary students for the Middle East and North Africa exchanges. Each applicant organization can submit only one proposal per region.
