    The Public Diplomacy Small Grants Program by the U.S. Embassy in Lome, Togo, is designed to fund projects that enhance cultural and exchange programming between the U.S. and Togo. The grant focuses on initiatives that incorporate American cultural elements or expertise to promote mutual understanding and uphold shared values. Priority areas for the grant include promoting peace, social cohesion, and counter-violence efforts; encouraging youth and women’s engagement in civic activities and democracy; driving economic growth through entrepreneurship and strengthened public-private partnerships; and supporting inclusive educational initiatives that empower women, minorities, and persons with disabilities. Projects eligible for funding under this program range from academic and professional lectures to artistic workshops, exhibitions, and various exchange programs.
