    Overview

    The Public Diplomacy Small Grants Program focuses on projects that incorporate an American cultural element or connection with American experts, organizations, or institutions in specific fields to promote better understanding of U.S. perspectives. The grant supports a wide range of programs, including academic and professional lectures, seminars, speaker programs, artistic and cultural workshops, joint performances and exhibitions, cultural heritage conservation and preservation, professional and academic exchanges, and youth entrepreneurship training. Priority is given to programs that support U.S. treaty obligations, U.S. policies and strategic objectives in Namibia, disaster risk reduction for cultural heritage, and activities that complement the Cultural Heritage Center or Public Diplomacy programs.
