The Bureau of International Information Programs (IIP) supports people-to-people conversations with foreign publics on U.S. policy priorities.
The grant program from U.S. Mission Morocco offers American Spaces Support Funding ranging from $5,000 to $30,000 USD for programming at Dar America in Casablanca and the American Space Oujda in Oujda. The primary aim is to carry out initiatives that can include enhancing soft skills, entrepreneurship, and climate change training among others. The fiscal year 2023 saw the extension of programming to over 332 virtual and in-person initiatives and events, attracting up to 15,466 attendees. This demonstrates the grant's broad goal of facilitating cultural exchange and understanding, as well as supporting the development of skills relevant to global challenges and opportunities.
