The ISN Bureau is organized around three mutually reinforcing efforts: Nonproliferation Policy, International Security Policy, International Security and Nonproliferation Programming.
This grant focuses on advancing U.S. foreign policy and national security priorities through supporting initiatives that align partner states’ strategic trade control systems with international standards. It emphasizes engagement at bilateral, regional, and multilateral levels to assist in the development of independent capabilities for regulating transfers of weapons of mass destruction (WMD), WMD-related items, conventional arms, and related dual-use items. Additionally, it aims to enhance abilities to detect, interdict, investigate, and prosecute illicit transfers of such items.
