The ISN Bureau is organized around three mutually reinforcing efforts: Nonproliferation Policy, International Security Policy, International Security and Nonproliferation Programming.
The Strategic Trade Facilitation in India grant aims to promote U.S.-India technology partnerships. Its goal is to address and bridge compliance gaps and best practices between U.S. and Indian companies, especially those Indian entities listed by the U.S. Department of Commerce due to their contributions to India's nuclear weapons program. The grant focuses on conducting outreach, offering directed assistance to Indian companies to secure and manage sensitive technologies, and ensuring compliance with international nonproliferation standards. Key activities include legislative and regulatory analysis, consultative services, outreach seminars, and pop-up consultations.
