The Accelerated Innovation Deployment (AID) Demonstration, spearheaded by the FHWA, focuses on expediting the deployment of innovative practices in the highway transportation sector. It offers incentive funding for a wide range of project activities eligible under title 23, U.S.C., covering various phases from project planning to delivery. These activities include but are not limited to planning, financing, operations, structures, materials, pavements, the environment, and construction, all aimed at achieving the Technology and Innovation Deployment Program (TIDP) goals. This multiyear funding opportunity seeks grant applications to foster innovation within the highway transportation projects.
