Overview

The objective of this grant is to support the development and planning of watershed groups and projects aimed at restoration and sustainable management of water resources. Specifically, it invites various organizations and districts to propose Phase I activities which include developing a watershed group, completing watershed restoration planning activities, and designing watershed management projects. A watershed group must be a grassroots, non-regulatory entity focused on water availability and quality issues, promoting the sustainable use of water resources, making consensus-based decisions, and representing a diverse group of stakeholders.
