    The FY24 CPD Accreditation: Addressing Gaps in State and Regional Accreditation program, managed by the COPS Office, intends to fund public governmental agencies, federally recognized Indian tribes, non-profits, educational institutions, or community groups for the development of accreditation entities. The aim is to identify and expand upon promising practices in law enforcement accreditation and create knowledge products adhering to quality, evidence-based, accessible, and memorable principles. These efforts are directed at enhancing performance uniformity in law enforcement, incorporating the best available evidence, ensuring the information is easily understandable and relevant, and facilitating immediate application in complex law enforcement scenarios.
