    Overview

    The NIST-Hawai'i Partnership in Plastic Pollution Research aims to establish an institutional award to foster collaboration on plastic pollution research with a focus on the Hawaiian Island region. The grant encourages applications from entities that can provide necessary facilities and support for hosting at least three NIST scientists. The partnership is geared towards conducting multidisciplinary plastic pollution research, with a goal of establishing a long-term collaboration between NIST and the grant recipient. The proposed activities should encompass administrative, research, and outreach/educational support to facilitate world-class research efforts in addressing plastic pollution.
