    Overview

    The Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Program for CHIPS for America – CHIPS Metrology offers grants to support the exploration of technical merit or feasibility of innovative ideas or technologies in the microelectronics sector. The program aims to develop viable products or services for the commercial microelectronics marketplace. It focuses on research projects that address the need for measurement services, tools, and instrumentation; innovative manufacturing metrologies; novel assurance and provenance technologies; and advanced metrology research and development testbeds. This initiative seeks to secure U.S. leadership in the global semiconductor industry.
