This Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) aims to support Small Business Concerns (SBCs) in developing improved clinical diagnostics or creating alternative clinical diagnostics. The goal is to address health disparities caused by current clinical laboratory assays and/or point-of-care devices that overlook diverse patient groups. This includes identifying issues within clinical diagnostics that perpetuate health inequity, defining these disparities clearly, and developing solutions to address these concerns.
