This grant program by the Office of Head Start (OHS) under the Administration for Children and Families focuses on expanding access to high-quality, comprehensive services for low-income American Indian/Alaska Native infants, toddlers, and their families. Specifically, funding is aimed at supporting Early Head Start-Child Care Partnerships or the expansion of Early Head Start services. The program welcomes applications from public entities, including states, or private non-profit organizations, such as community-based or faith-based organizations, and for-profit agencies meeting the eligibility criteria outlined in section 42 U.S.C. 9840A of the Head Start Act.
