    Overview

    The Child Development Research Fellowship funded by ACF offers a cooperative agreement to support the professional development of child development researchers. It focuses on enabling these professionals to engage in policy research that benefits programs for low-income children and families. The grant is targeted at a Professional Membership Organization capable of leading the Fellowship Program, which aims to acquaint researchers with policy environments, especially at the federal level, to enhance their skills in policy-relevant research. The fellowship intends to deepen the fellows’ understanding of child development research and its application in services for low-income families, ultimately fostering a cadre of researchers proficient in policy and program-relevant research and evaluation.
