The Refugee Career Pathways (RCP) program, managed by the Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) within the Administration for Children and Families (ACF), aims to support refugees and other eligible populations in achieving self-sufficiency. It focuses on leveraging participants' previously acquired skills, knowledge, and experience to secure professional or skilled employment. The program's activities include case management, training and technical assistance, specialized English language training, mentoring, and financial assistance for re-establishing credentials. A significant element of the RCP program is promoting partnerships between program participants and educational institutions to enhance career opportunities. This initiative is designed to supplement existing services by helping participants develop individualized plans for gaining employment and advancing within their chosen fields, with a requirement for implemented programs to collaborate with refugee-focused entities.
