    Overview

The fiscal year 2020 Small Grants Program from the United States Mission in Geneva aims to support projects that align with U.S. policy priorities within the multilateral sphere. Open to individuals, NGOs, think tanks, and academic and government institutions, the program seeks to fund initiatives that incorporate a U.S. element or connection. Projects may include lectures, panel discussions, exhibitions, cultural programs, exchanges, workshops, training, or public awareness campaigns. Priority is given to proposals focusing on human rights and the protection of defenders, freedom of religion or belief, promoting peace and security, public-private partnerships, preserving core UN values, and enhancing transparency, accountability, and efficiency in the UN system. Funding is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds.
