    Overview

    The Small Grants Program by the U.S. Embassy Lilongwe’s Public Diplomacy Section invites proposals for projects that feature an American cultural element or the involvement of American experts, organizations, or institutions in specific fields to increase understanding of U.S. policies and perspectives in Malawi. This program supports a variety of initiatives, including but not limited to, lectures and seminars by U.S. experts, artistic and cultural workshops, professional and academic exchanges, cultural heritage conservation, initiatives by alumni of U.S. exchange programs, and efforts to enhance English language teaching or access to U.S.-related information sources. The program prioritizes projects that promote bilateral cooperation and shared values between the two countries.
