    Overview

The Public Diplomacy Small Grants Program specifically invites proposals that strengthen U.S.-Kenya relationships and promote bilateral cooperation. Projects should establish or enhance a U.S. linkage such as connections with American experts, organizations, or institutions in fields that promote better understanding of U.S. polices and perspectives. The grant prioritizes projects in the areas of Economic Prosperity, Democracy and Governance, and Celebrating 60 Years of U.S.-Kenya Partnership. These areas encompass initiatives that improve the economic partnership, business climate, support for startups, clean energy and climate change solutions, and skilled education in Kenya; deepen respect for human rights, rule of law, and democratic values; and celebrate the history and achievements of U.S.-Kenya ties, including advancements in trade, climate action, public health, education, and security cooperation.
