    Overview

The Public Diplomacy Small Grants Program is designed to fund projects that advance key strategic goals in alignment with the U.S. Embassy's priority areas. The grant supports projects targeting Czech audiences with the aim of fostering stronger U.S.-Czech relations. These projects must include an American cultural or policy element, or feature a connection with American experts, organizations, or institutions. They should also promote a better understanding of U.S. policies and perspectives. The program encourages a wide range of initiatives, including academic lectures, civic engagement projects, artistic collaborations, and professional exchanges, all geared towards supporting one of the defined Priority Program Areas. These areas include bolstering the U.S.-Czech bilateral relationship, economic prosperity, environmental and STEM education, human rights and democratic values, media integrity and literacy, and security. Through these initiatives, the grant aims to have a positive impact on the bilateral relationship between the U.S. and the Czech Republic by enhancing mutual understanding and cooperation.
