The Office of Elementary and Secondary Education (OESE) works to improve the achievement of students in preschool through secondary school. The office also works to ensure equal education opportunities for all, and to provide assistance to state and local schools.
The purpose of the Technical Assistance and Dissemination to Improve Services and Results for Children with Disabilities program is to enhance academic achievement and outcomes for children with disabilities. This is accomplished by providing technical assistance (TA), supporting model demonstration projects, disseminating valuable information, and conducting activities grounded in scientifically based research.
