The Administration for Community Living (ACL) supports the needs of the aging and disability populations, and improves access health care and long-term services.
The grant focuses on supporting the ACL Innovation Lab in its mission to develop and scale effective practices that enhance health and prevent injuries among older adults and those with disabilities. To further these objectives, the grant will require collaboration with the existing Lab. Key activities highlighted include creating classifications for topics related to falls prevention for older adults, granting funds to sub-recipients, offering technical support and dissemination assistance, and assessing the effectiveness of the Lab's ongoing projects.
