The Administration for Community Living (ACL) supports the needs of the aging and disability populations, and improves access health care and long-term services.
The grant aims to support the Rehabilitation Research and Training Centers (RRTCs) in conducting comprehensive research, training, technical assistance, and dissemination activities. These efforts target enhancing the effectiveness of services under the Rehabilitation Act, specifically aimed at improving employment outcomes for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Leveraging these various activities, the grant seeks to benefit people with disabilities, their families, rehabilitation service providers, policymakers, and other stakeholders involved in this domain. NIDILRR intends to issue one grant under this opportunity, which will extend over a 60-month period broken down into five 12-month budget periods.
