    The grant program under the Native Hawaiian Health Care Improvement Act aims to provide support and resources to Native Hawaiian health care programs. Specifically, it includes one award to Papa Ola Lokahi for administrative purposes and five awards for qualified entities, defined as Native Hawaiian Health Care Systems (NHHCS) recognized and certified by Papa Ola Lokahi. These awards are designed to aid in providing comprehensive health promotion, disease prevention, and primary health services specifically catered to the needs of the Native Hawaiian communities. This is a limited competition announcement, intended for fiscal years 2024 through 2026, focusing on entities that have been duly recognized and are capable of meeting the healthcare needs of the Native Hawaiian population according to the specified legal and organizational guidelines.
