The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) provides equitable health care to the nation’s highest-need communities. Our programs support people with low incomes, people with HIV, pregnant people, children, parents, rural communities, transplant patients, and the health workforce.
The Health Care Workforce Innovation Program aims to increase the health care workforce through the funding of innovative education and training models. These models are intended to boost the number of health care professionals in areas that are underserved and rural, thereby addressing disparities in health care access in these locations.
