The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) provides equitable health care to the nation’s highest-need communities. Our programs support people with low incomes, people with HIV, pregnant people, children, parents, rural communities, transplant patients, and the health workforce.
The grant aims to expand, enhance, and modernize nursing education programs. This is achieved by increasing the number of faculty, which in turn, increases the capacity for student enrollment in schools of nursing. The ultimate goal is to address the shortage of nursing professionals by facilitating larger and more advanced nursing education programs.
