The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) provides equitable health care to the nation’s highest-need communities. Our programs support people with low incomes, people with HIV, pregnant people, children, parents, rural communities, transplant patients, and the health workforce.
The Poison Center Enhancement program aims to support accredited and qualifying unaccredited poison control centers by funding activities that prevent poisoning, provide guidance and treatment recommendations for poisonings and toxic exposures, collect case surveillance data, and enhance public health emergency preparedness and response. Eligible applicants include poison control centers accredited by or eligible for a waiver from the American Association of Poison Control Centers.
