The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) provides equitable health care to the nation’s highest-need communities. Our programs support people with low incomes, people with HIV, pregnant people, children, parents, rural communities, transplant patients, and the health workforce.
The Primary Care Training and Enhancement - Rural Community Program Directors (PCTE-RCPD) grant aims to bolster primary care fellowship programs. Its goal is to equip physicians, who have completed their residency in various primary care fields such as general internal medicine, family medicine, or pediatrics, with the essential skills to lead as residency program directors. Specifically, it focuses on those intending to direct rural primary care residency programs or Teaching Health Center residency programs.
