The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) provides equitable health care to the nation’s highest-need communities. Our programs support people with low incomes, people with HIV, pregnant people, children, parents, rural communities, transplant patients, and the health workforce.
The program aims to tackle implicit bias among maternal health care providers with the broader goal of diminishing health disparities and enhancing maternal health outcomes. It focuses on specific interventions or strategies that address the preconceptions and unconscious biases healthcare providers may hold, which can impact the quality of care and health outcomes for mothers.
