The grant program focuses on forming a cooperative agreement with a state agency that is responsible for the administration or implementation of undesirable plants laws. The selected agency will offer professional services to assist the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers with the management of undesirable plants on federal lands managed by the Natural Resource Management section at the John Day Project in Gilliam County, Oregon. This effort aligns with environmental management and conservation goals, particularly targeting the control and eradication of invasive plant species that threaten the ecological balance of these federal lands.
