    Overview

    The 2024 APHIS WS cooperative agreement funding aims to control and prevent chronic wasting disease (CWD) among wild cervids, emphasizing support for Tribal lands. This initiative involves the development and/or implementation of surveillance, testing, management, and response activities related to CWD on lands owned or managed by Tribal entities. The funding allocation of approximately $500,000 will be contingent on Congressional appropriations for FY24.
