The SNAP Fraud Framework Implementation Grant Program aims to assist State agencies in enhancing their efforts towards preventing, detecting, and investigating recipient fraud in the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). It focuses on the adoption of procedures, ideas, and practices encompassed in the SNAP Fraud Framework. The grant emphasizes on various fundamental aspects including Organizational Management to establish operational priorities and manage processes effectively, Performance Measurement for consistent performance analysis, Recipient Integrity Education to inform beneficiaries about the correct usage of SNAP benefits and prevent fraud, Fraud Detection from application through the entire participation period, Investigations and Dispositions to improve fraud case management, Analytics and Data Management for sustaining an analytical approach towards preventing and investigating fraud, and Learning and Development to ensure employees are updated on fraud trends and engaged through professional development opportunities.
