The grant program aims to promote and enhance the capacity of eligible institutions in the Insular Areas for education related to food, agricultural, and natural resource sciences. It focuses on strengthening institutional educational capabilities, including improvements to libraries, curriculum, faculty, scientific instrumentation, instruction delivery systems, and strategies for student recruitment and retention. The overarching goal is to address educational needs within the realms of food and agricultural sciences.
