We are committed to helping improve the economy and quality of life in rural America.
This program aims to provide affordable funding for the development of essential community facilities in rural areas. It supports projects that offer essential services for the orderly development of primarily rural communities, excluding private, commercial, or business undertakings. Eligible areas are rural locations with no more than 20,000 residents as per the U.S. Census Data. Funds may be used for activities such as purchasing, constructing, or improving facilities like healthcare, public facilities, community support services, public safety services, educational services, utility services, and local food systems. The grant assistance varies, providing a higher proportion of funds to smaller communities with the lowest median household income, ensuring that the benefits are distributed in alignment with the community's financial needs.
