We are committed to helping improve the economy and quality of life in rural America.
This program provides affordable funding to develop essential community facilities in rural areas, catering specifically to communities with no more than 20,000 residents, including Federally Recognized Tribal Lands. It aims at the construction, purchase, and improvement of essential community facilities, such as healthcare, public safety, education, and community support services, among others. The grant targets projects that will offer essential services for the orderly development of rural communities, explicitly excluding private, commercial, or business undertakings. Funding availability is on a graduated scale based on the community's size and median household income, with specific eligibility criteria for the proportion of grant funds to project costs.
