This program aims to support the development and maintenance of clean and reliable drinking water systems, sanitary sewage disposal, sanitary solid waste disposal, and storm water drainage for households and businesses in eligible rural areas. Specifically, the grant funds can be used for projects related to the acquisition, construction, or improvement of drinking water, sewer, solid waste, and storm water management facilities. Additionally, funding may cover related activities such as legal and engineering fees, land acquisition, start-up operations and maintenance, and other costs essential for project completion.
