This program aims to support the development and maintenance of clean and reliable drinking water systems, as well as promoting sanitary sewage and solid waste disposal, and substantial storm water drainage for households and businesses in eligible rural areas. Specifically, the grant funds can be utilized for projects related to the acquisition, construction, or improvement of drinking water infrastructure, sewage systems, solid waste disposal, and storm water management. Additional eligible uses of the funds include covering costs for legal and engineering services, land acquisition, equipment purchase, start-up operations, and other necessary expenses for project completion.
