    Overview

    The South Lake Champlain Fund (SLCF) is dedicated to fostering environmental health and cultural heritage in the southern portion of Lake Champlain through annual grants. Broad goals of the grant program include supporting educational projects that engage young people with the area’s cultural heritage, history, and ecology; funding innovative research on the environmental health and cultural heritage of this region; backing projects that have a direct impact on local communities and utilize the expertise of local professionals; and covering project-related expenses. The grant encourages public sharing of findings, collaboration with interested organizations, and inclusion of volunteer components in projects.
