The NRCC administers the Design and Implementation Block Grants and the Enhancement Design and Implementation Block Grant Program (EDIBG) with the aim to support water quality improvement and protection in Vermont. The grants cater to Vermont’s 14 Natural Resources Conservation Districts, watershed groups, municipalities, and others, supporting projects from preliminary design to implementation phases. Approximately $400,000 is available in funding, supporting both stormwater and natural resources projects without a specified project budget limit. Projects are expected to demonstrate prioritization, impact, cost-effectiveness, and the potential for leveraged funds.
