ViiV Healthcare is committed to disrupting disparities in HIV/AIDs through innovative solutions. Their focus is on increasing engagement in prevention and care, addressing stigma, building trust, and promoting the voices of communities most impacted by HIV.
The Positive Action Community Grants program by ViiV Healthcare focuses on supporting organizations working within the HIV/AIDS sector, particularly those targeting disparities in the epidemic. The grants aim to fund projects that: enhance the health and well-being of people living with HIV through innovative community-led solutions; improve prevention infrastructure for communities of color; and support innovative projects at the intersection of HIV, stigma, and social determinants of health such as expanding harm reduction services, advocating for the decriminalization of HIV, boosting access to culturally responsive sexual health education, leveraging arts and culture for community engagement, and increasing access to mental health services for those living with or vulnerable to HIV. The grants are available for general operating support, special event sponsorships, and specific project support within ViiV Healthcare’s areas of focus: linkage to care, networks of support, and advocacy.
